GRAMMY'S is a bakery. The requirement of this project is they want to develop an e-commerce website. The homepage showcases some of their popular products. All product pages can be filtered by price and product category. Single product displays all single product information. The checkout page displays all purchased products and uploads user information through registration.
This is my first UI/UX design project. From product photography, retouching, UI/UX line draft, UI/UX draft, to the final website design, I learned the whole workflow of making a website project. In order to bring users a better experience, I try my best to ensure high-quality work in every link, so as to avoid unnecessary duplication of work. The whole work hopes to bring users a concise user experience. Each page provides clear instructions to the user, click to go to the page the user wants to go to.
The most challenging part was matching the colors. Since the entire project is the assigned colorway, I had to think about how to make these three more specific colors look like they would match the bakery. I would use some transparency tools to desaturate the colors a bit, and choose a dominant color that will be used for most of the page.
In addition, every link of the whole project is very important. This made me understand that for a good design result, every step is done carefully.
