As a Designer

I'm Mingyue Li. I started to study new media production and design program at SAIT in 2022. The courses of this program involve Web Communications, Visual Communications, Rich Media Communications, and some new media marketing plans and business knowledge. Under the guidance of the instructor, we explored Adobe series software and created many interesting works. I really enjoyed my study during this period and acquired a wealth of knowledge in the field of new media.

I currently live in Calgary. I love to create and draw, and to discover and explore beauty. So that's why I tend to work in the field of graphic design. At the same time, I have studied business management in the UK. I understand customer needs and have knowledge in business operations. In my opinion, a good designer should not only possess professional design knowledge, but also be based on market demand.

As a Dancer

Before learning New Media Design, my major was Dance. I study traditional Chinese dance and ballet, and have gained a lot in this field. Dance brings me a lot of inspiration in artistic creation. At the same time, I think that art is interlinked, and it allows me to have different opinions on the same thing in the design process.
