This is a group assignment to create a documentary. Based on my background in dance, we created a dance-related themed video. I am responsible for organizing the materials and editing some of the videos. The main purpose of this project was to practice the use of lighting, explore the interview process and become more familiar with video editing.
Designing a highly recognizable pet brand was my original intention for this project. I love dogs, so I created this text logo using the shape of a dog. I tried to try different graphics to reflect the text and ultimately I settled on this one.
Since this is a documentary, each interview topic needs to correspond to a corresponding video. Therefore, how to connect each video and reflect the scene described by the interviewee needs to be considered. In addition, sound editing is also difficult. Since the radio is another device, it requires matching the sound with the video later. In order to present clearer sound quality, we also tried to remove unnecessary noise and chatter.
