GreatPaw is a pet supply store which serving people who have pets. The brand provides healthy food, comfortable pet clothing, and high-quality supplies for pets. The logo hopes to convey a feeling of love, health and peace. The entire logo is based on the shape of a dog, combined with text.
Designing a highly recognizable pet brand was my original intention for this project. I love dogs, so I created this text logo using the shape of a dog. I tried to experiment with different shapes to reflect the text, and ultimately I settled on the shape of a dog. It makes people look close and loving.
This design explores the creation of a text logo on a graphic surface. The difficulty lies in how to segment different parts of the graphic to create text so that the text matches the corresponding part of the graphic and displays each letter well. Then adjust the shape of the letters again to make the overall dog look more pronounced. This work helped me learn another way in text logo design.
