This is a brand visual guide that I volunteered for an educational institution. The Panda Club is a debating institution that focuses on improving young people's expressive, analytical, research and insight skills through debate and speech training. So that students can express more logically and confidently. They want me to design a complete set of visual system to better display their brand.
The logo design takes the image of a panda as the main body. The overall design needs to reflect a positive, optimistic state. At the very beginning, I hoped to combine some study tool elements to reflect that this is an educational institution. From tedious to simplified, I designed a series of sketches that fit the brand personality.
The logo shows a panda raising its face, engaging in a debate in a gesture of raised hands. The logo outlines the face with the brand name, arms and ears.
For me, how to make a logo that is simple and impressive is challenging. First of all, it is necessary to establish a preliminary plan based on client needs and brand personality, and then continuously update it in the draft to optimize the design to get the best results. I need to explore more and browse good design resources to get more design inspiration.
