Minetale is a children's game. Its main purpose is to make children interested in mathematics through games and thereby acquire mathematical knowledge. I was responsible for character design and CG design in this project, and we used a paper-cut style to shape the overall visual effect.

Inspirations
This project hopes to use paper-cut style to create a different visual layering. Create an introductory screen based on the plot development of the story. The main color is green to better reflect that the story takes place in the forest. Each picture has at least 4 levels, with colors from dark to light, or from light to dark. In terms of character creation, the style is more cartoonish with the target audience in mind.
Challenge
In order to make each picture very beautiful, the pictures on each layer are different. Most of the images are drawn in one stroke, and then the curve tool is used to outline every detail. In terms of character creation, it is difficult to maintain a consistent character style. For this reason, I did a lot of research and reference to complete the final product. In addition, when characters are added to each scene, the character's posture and expression need to be adjusted according to the storyline, which also requires a lot of energy to produce.
